Who We Are
Western Youth Network aims to transform our High Country community by nurturing and empowering our children so that they live HEALTHY, ENGAGED and FULFILLED LIVES.
WYN is a trauma-informed agency that addresses Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) and their consequences through prevention AND intervention approaches.
What We Do
WYN has 4 core initiatives:
1. Mentoring Program (Ashe, Watauga, Avery)
2. Afterschool Programming (Ashe, Alleghany, Watauga)
3. Summer Camp Programming (Ashe, Alleghany, Watauga)
4. Community Health Initiatives (Ashe, Alleghany, Wilkes, Watauga & Avery)
